Well the head coach for Team GB has been on the phone and they are a little short of finely tuned athletes for 2012 so I have grabbed the trainers from their mothballs and am back in training.  When your country needs you and all that......

I have slotted into the new regime instantly, jogging to the pub and kebab shop at least twice a week so I am feeling the benefits already and my first event will be the Manchester 10K on 16th May.

This time around I have teamed up with another fantastic charity, the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity and I really want to smash last year’s total, what the hell let's go for the full £1K !

Rainbow Trust Children's Charity provides emotional and practical support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. Rainbow Trust's Family Support Workers join the family in their own home and are there to provide practical support.
