DEBRA helps families affected by EB (Epidermolysis Bullosa), a genetic condition which causes the skin to blister and shear at the slightest friction. DEBRA provides a team of nurses and social care staff to work with families affected by EB and commissions world-leading research into the condition.

Epidermolysis Bullosa - EB is a distressing genetic skin condition which causes skin layers and internal body linings to seperate and blister. People with EB have very delicate skin that is highly vulnerable to the slightest knock or rub which can leave severe and long lasting mutilation and increasing disabililty. It's something you are born with - it cant be caught!
