My fun run last year managed to raise the £100 for Cancer Research and I was incredibly proud to have reached my target amount.

This year, I'm trying to raise £100 again but I also have an extra motivation to complete my 5K run. Earlier this year a dear friend and colleague of mine, Jacquie Pelosi, died following a long and brave battle with cancer and it's in her memory that I'll be running on July 5th 2009.

If you were a friend or colleague of Jacquie too, it'd be great to receive a donation from you as the search continues for a cure to this horrible disease which has claimed the lives of so many loved ones around the world.
