Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Please sponsor me!
Perhaps you are reeling, in shock that: - In the first place I posess the ability to run at all (have you ever seen it happen?) - I can be bothered to get off my bum and actually do some exercise.
Well, it's true, I really am going to do it. Why don't you sponsor me now and make it worth the effort?

BIO: Luke Wood was born in Chester and has hated exercise from a very early age. Being a responsible older brother he was always more likely to confiscate the ball than play with one. At school, he rarely took part in PE, thanks to a fortuitous string of mishaps including two broken arms, several lost contact lenses and many ingrowing toenails. In sixth form, the the long bus journey after a hard day's work was made all the more bearable for Luke by his scoffing of a whole bag of marshmallows. One bag per journey. During university he was well known for his dislike of breaking into a sweat, which led to the habit of adding another 50% walking time onto most journeys.
Now, in an unusual turn of events, Luke Wood has turned his back on the old days (though a trusty pack of Hob Nobs can still always be found next to his desk) and will be running 5 kilometers on 5th July 2009 for the Bobby Moore Fund.
From what we can tell, it appears that Luke is convinced there will be a massive cake as a finishing prize.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
